Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fencing Operative to join the Responsive Repairs team across the Kent area. You will carry out fencing repairs, replacements and installations at properties, communal areas, and estates, including work in residents' homes.

The role focuses on safety, quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Salary up to £40,000 with a van and fuel card, plus 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience in fencing repairs and installations preferred.
• Safe working in resident homes and in communities.
• Strong attention to quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive fencing repairs and replacements (timber, concrete post, panel, metal).
• Install new boundary fences, gates, and access points to required spec.
• Remove and safely dispose of damaged fencing materials.
• Set concrete posts, mix and pour concrete, level ground as required.
• Carry out gate repairs and installations (hinges, latches, locking).

The Role:

Daniel Owen are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Fencing Operative to join my clients Responsive Repairs team covering across the Kent area

You will be responsible for carrying out fencing repairs, replacements, and installations to properties, communal areas, and estates across our housing stock. Working directly in resident's homes and neighbourhoods, you will deliver high-quality work, ensure safety and security, and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Key Duties:

• Carry out responsive fencing repairs and replacements, including timber, concrete post, panel, and metal fencing systems.
• Install new boundary fences, gates, and access points to the required specification and standard.
• Remove and safely dispose of damaged or old fencing materials.
• Set concrete posts, mix and pour concrete, and level ground as required.
• Carry out gate repairs and installations, including hinges, latches, and locking mechanisms.
