Bluebird Care Durham North is seeking a caring Waking Night Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes in Peterborough and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible shifts, full induction, and ongoing expert training, with a strong focus on dignity and independence for clients.

You will travel to clients, provide high-quality personal care, assist with meals and daily activities, and work within a supportive team. A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

Requirements

• *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*

• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
