Job summary

Bluebird Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our expert team in providing person-centred care at home across the UK. You will deliver tailored support to each individual, assist with personal care, meals, and medications while promoting dignity and independence.

We offer full induction and ongoing expert training, flexible shift patterns, uniforms and PPE, and a supportive team with 24/7 assistance.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable Care Assistant.
• Ability to assist with personal care and meals.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housekeeping and laundry.
• Be a dependable friendly face for customers.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
