Job summary

Bluebird Care Worthing in Gosport is looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients at home, delivering person-centred care that promotes independence and dignity.

You’ll work in a friendly team, enjoy flexible shift patterns, and benefit from paid travel time, mileage, sickness and compassionate leave, plus ongoing expert training and support.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
