About Mickleburgh — Who Will You Support?

Hi, I'm a young woman living in my own home in Herne Bay. I have autism, mild learning disabilities and some complex health needs, and I'm looking for caring, calm and confident Support Workers to join my small team.

Some days I may need extra reassurance, understanding or a little space, so consistency and a calm approach are really important. In return, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference while supporting me to grow in confidence and independence.

You’ll never be on your own. You’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team and will receive support from specialist colleagues, including behaviour support professionals, to help you succeed in your role.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting with day-to-day routines, from getting ready in the morning to winding down at the end of the day
  • Planning and taking part in fun activities that match each person's interests and goals
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and new experiences
  • Building positive relationships that help people feel valued and supported
