Would you like to be part of a small and highly specialised service committed to supporting individuals in the community?
Would you like to help someone be involved in and feel part of their local community?
Would you like to be well trained, well supported, well paid, and know that you are making a positive difference every day?
I am a woman in my 50s living in Coventry, with autism, Charcot-Marie-Tooth syndrome (which affects my mobility), and a mild/moderate learning disability. I may display complex behaviours of concern, including self-injury and scratching. I experience high anxiety levels and need reassurance from my support team.
It is important to me that my support team understands autism, is patient, and provides consistent encouragement.
I am very sensitive to noise and prefer a calm, quiet environment. Sensory activities like hand massage, listening to music, watching films, and arts and crafts are important to me. I enjoy hair and nails grooming, Harry Potter, and value my large family and practicing Muslim faith, which are very important to me.
