We have an excellent opportunity for a Support Worker to join our incredible Supported Living Service. Opportunities are available in DY11 6LS.

  • Role: Support Worker
  • Pay Rate: £12.40 per Hour
  • Shifts: Days
  • Full-time - 42 hours per week

Duties Include:

  • Supporting individuals with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using person-centred approaches to enable positive outcomes as outlined in their support plans.
  • Basic daily duties such as medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and paperwork.
  • Providing emotional and practical support.
  • Assisting individuals to access community facilities and participate in community groups.
  • Building strong relationships to promote independence and improve quality of life.
  • Empowering individuals to learn new skills and pursue hobbies and interests.

Person Specifications:

You must be Female for this role.

  • Experience in the care industry, ICSs, or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience supporting people with mental health conditions, complex care needs, and challenging behaviours.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, good time management, organization, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • IT literacy.
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A compassionate, caring, and positive personality.
  • Genuine passion for making a difference in people's lives.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflicts.
  • Works well both as part of a team and independently.
