Job summary

Invictus Complex Care Ltd is seeking a Female Complex Care Nurse for a vibrant young lady in Southampton. You will cover 1 waking night shift per week (8pm–8am), with weekend requirements, at rates from £35ph.

The role involves ventilatory support, cough assist, daily notes, and creating a positive home environment with Disney-inspired care. The position offers full training, 24/7 clinical support, and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Reliable and flexible nursing professional with good communication.
• Experience delivering complex care in home settings.
• Able to manage ventilatory support and associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ventilatory support: manage the Nippy 3/4 ventilator.
• Cough Assist: operate Philips Respironics Cough Assist machine.
• Daily Care Notes: document safe, compassionate care in line with the care plan.
• Engage with the client to create a positive, supportive atmosphere.

Female Complex Care Nurse required for a lovely young lady in Southampton

We are looking for an experienced Complex Care Nurse who will bring positivity and fun to our clients care environment and be able to provide the important care that our client requires. Our client is a vibrant woman who lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA type 1) and loves all things Disney, make up and pop songs!

Full client specific training will be provided by our brilliant nursing team. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a lovely team and to enhance your skills in complex care, with fantastic 24/7 clinical support.

Your experience as a Complex Care Nurse:

• Ventilatory Support: Managing a Nippy 3/4 ventilator.
• Cough Assist: Operating the Philips Respironics Cough Assist machine.
• Daily Care Notes: Providing safe, gentle support due to brittle bones and limited mobility.
• Engagement: Creating a positive, uplifting atmosphere by embracing love of Disney, makeup, and pop music.
