Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking a Female Complex Care Assistant to provide 1-to-1 care in a client's home in Chester-le-Street. You will support individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex health needs, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently.

The role offers guaranteed hours, fully funded Enhanced DBS, and specialist clinical training. Female applicants only due to client requirements; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience with challenging behaviour and non-verbal clients.
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect.
• Support medication and clinical observations.
• Assist with nutrition and epilepsy (training provided).
• Follow individual care plans.
