Job summary
Hugh Baird College in Liverpool is seeking two Electrical Installation Lecturers to join our Building Services team, delivering Level 1-3 teaching to 16-18 learners, adult students and apprentices. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess learners and provide feedback, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to curriculum development.
We welcome industry professionals with teaching experience; at least one appointment requires prior teaching or training experience.
Qualifications
- Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma qualifications in Electrical Installation.
- AM2 assessment qualification (City & Guilds 5357 or EAL 7345) required.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Experience teaching FE or similar environments (Desirable).
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Levels 1-3.
- Assess and support learners to achieve their goals.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners.
- Maintain accurate course records.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
