Zusammenfassung

Hugh Baird College is recruiting two Electrical Installation Lecturers to join the Building Services team at the Port Academy Building, Liverpool. The role is full-time and permanent, delivering Levels 1–3 to 16–18 learners, adults and apprentices.

Candidates should bring strong trade expertise and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment. A teaching qualification or commitment to gain one is preferred; prior teaching experience is valued.

Qualifikationen

• Need Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
• Must have AM2 or equivalent (City & Guilds 5357 or EAL 7345).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification required; 17th edition not accepted.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one is required.
• Experience delivering apprenticeship programmes is a plus.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Levels 1–3.
• Assess and support learners to achieve their goals.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate course records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to develop future electricians.
