Job summary

White Stuff in the United Kingdom seeks a Customer Host Supervisor to support the Shop Manager in delivering an outstanding customer experience and retail standards. You will lead by example, coach the team, and drive commercial activity, promotions and multichannel sales while maintaining high visual standards.

You will be part of a sociable Retail team, responsible for stock, events, training and wellbeing initiatives, with a focus on KPI delivery and staff motivation.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer service aligned with ACE pillars to ensure an excellent customer journey.
• Promote customer data capture and email sign ups in line with data rules.
• Champion multichannel shopping and Endless Aisle concepts.
• Maintain high in-store visuals and assist with floor moves and replenishment.
• Explain product features and styles to customers and the team.
• Make commercial stock and promotion decisions to drive sales.
• Coordinate promotions and key trading weeks, monitor KPIs.
• Lead team briefs in absence of the Shop Manager and motivate the team.
• Understand KPIs and drive ongoing team performance improvements.
• Organise and support shop operations via Rotageek and communications.
• Engage with customers using brand channels and ensure daily/weekly tasks.
• Create a positive shop atmosphere focused on sales and service.
• Motivate and reward the team, living the brand values.
• Delegate tasks to ensure smooth daily running and task prioritisation.
• Open opportunities to train and develop colleagues and escalate wellbeing queries.
• Cascading Retail communications to the team.
• Process deliveries efficiently and replenish shop floor stock.
• Supervise stock takes and audits for accurate reconciliation.
• Support day-to-day store operations, paperwork, cashing up and systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety procedures and escalation paths.
• Hold responsibility for Health & Safety procedures during management absence.
• Assist with store stakeholder visits and Click & Collect processes.
• Support with stocktake activities and reconciliation.
• Promote charity involvement and explain ethical sourcing to customers.
