Job summary

Manchester City Football Club is seeking an Activation Executive to help create memorable fan experiences across matchdays at the Etihad Stadium and Joie Stadium, and on non-matchday events in the UK and abroad.

You will oversee the Playmakers ambassador team, onboard and brief colleagues, and develop the City Kids Fanzone while exploring new experiences for diverse fan groups. Weekend/evening work and collaboration with suppliers are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating live events or activations with focus on audience experience.
• Experience supervising a team, briefing colleagues, and organizing activity around priorities.
• Knowledge of event safety guidance (Green Guide, Purple Guide) and health and safety responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for planning and communication.
• Clear, collaborative communication with colleagues, suppliers and fans.
• Willingness to work matchdays including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Support ideation, planning and delivery of fan experiences to enhance the matchday journey.
• Own and develop the Playmakers matchday ambassador team onboarding, training and briefing.
• Lead delivery of the City Kids Fanzone and create new fan experiences across matches.
• Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers for activations at women’s, Academy fixtures and events.
• Provide matchday and non-matchday operational and administrative support throughout the season.
