Job Opportunity: Family Solicitor

Role Overview

As a Family Solicitor within the team at your chosen location, your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring compliance with all statutory and Law Society rules, including the Solicitors Act, Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and Trustee Accounts Rules.
2. Managing a diverse caseload involving divorce, private children, non-molestation orders, and financial relief.
3. Handling cases independently, including cases at various stages.
4. Representing clients in court for hearings, initial consultations, and financial dispute resolutions.
5. Taking instructions, drafting legal documents, and working collaboratively within the team.
6. Preparing Legal Aid applications and liaising with the Legal Aid Agency as needed.
7. Meeting personal targets related to fee income and billable hours, and contributing to the firm’s growth and service offerings.
8. Supporting marketing efforts for the firm’s legal services.

Candidate Requirements

5 – 10 years PQE in Family Law with relevant experience.
