Job summary

Oasis Project is seeking a Family Team Recovery Worker to join our gender-responsive, child-centred service supporting women and families affected by substance use. The role focuses on delivering the Parenting Our Children, Accessing Recovery (POCAR) programme, managing a caseload and delivering group and individual support.

You will work in the community, often independently, and collaborate with Children's Social Care and partner agencies to safeguard and enable positive outcomes for families.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people affected by substance use or complex needs.
• Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to work independently in the community with lone-working capability.
• Qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable/essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Parenting Our Children, Accessing Recovery (POCAR) programme for mothers and, where appropriate, fathers.
• Manage a caseload and deliver individual and group interventions.
• Contribute to safeguarding and child-protection processes.
• Collaborate with Children's Social Care and partner agencies to support positive outcomes for families.
