Job summary

The Forward Trust is seeking a Family Support role to help families and CSOs access information, advice and support across prison and community settings. You will develop interventions, monitor outcomes and contribute to ongoing service improvements.

We value compassionate, proactive staff who can engage diverse clients and work collaboratively with partner organisations to strengthen recovery and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting families affected by substance misuse.
• Ability to respond sensitively to diverse backgrounds.
• Confident working with prison and community services.
• Positive, solution-focused approach.
• Strong negotiating and communication skills.
• Understanding of the voluntary sector and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful family interventions that complement treatment and recovery journeys.
• Monitor outcomes, collect and analyse information for audit and reporting.
• Contribute to audit, research and reporting activity across the service.
• Support service improvements and drive development of family work.
• Engage effectively with clients and families in prison and community settings.
