Job summary

Oasis Project in Brighton and Hove is seeking a Family Team Recovery Worker. This is a fixed-term, part-time role (1 year) of 35 hours per week, delivering support to women, children and families affected by substance use.

You will work in a trauma-informed, child-centred service, delivering the POCAR programme, managing caseloads, and collaborating with safeguarding and multi-agency partners to foster positive outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Health and Social Care experience or qualification is essential.
  • Knowledge of recovery approaches, trauma-informed practice and safeguarding procedures is required.
  • Ability to work with women and families in complex circumstances with empathy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload within a trauma-informed, gender-responsive service.
  • Deliver individual and group interventions for women and families.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and child protection processes.
  • Work closely with Children's Social Care and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Work independently in the community, including lone working when needed.
