We have a rare, exciting and rewarding opportunity to join the Phoenix Futures teams at HMP's Warren Hill and Hollesley Bay. Phoenix Futures is looking to recruit a Family Worker to support friends, family and significant people in the lives of those who access our specialist psychosocial substance use services.
As a Family Support Worker, you will support our clients and their families to reach their goals and change their lives for the better. You will be part of a passionate and skilled team, contributing to the provision of tailored interventions and recovery approaches. Your main role will be to support the families of our clients who either have substance use issues themselves or who need support with the challenges of having a loved one in custody.
Part of your role will be to work with our clients to deliver specific tailor made interventions around family relationships and relationship building.
You will be required to work directly with offenders delivering effective care-planned support using appropriate models, interventions, and approaches tailored to meet the individual needs of the client group. Previous experience of working within rehabilitation, treatment, and re-offending prevention services would be beneficial.
