Job summary

Forward Trust in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a Recovery Champion to provide person-centered recovery support. You will work closely with the STARS recovery community, BRIC Coordinator and wider Southend team to help clients achieve their goals across a 35-hour week.

The role uses harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches to support people along their recovery journey, including group facilitation and one-to-one interventions.

  • Experience of recovery and/or the local recovery community.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A person-centred and non-judgemental approach.
  • Someone who is organised, proactive and committed to supporting positive outcomes.

Are you passionate about supporting people on their recovery journey?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Recovery Champion to join our team in Southend-on-Sea, working full time (35 hours per week). You’ll work closely with the STARS recovery community, BRIC Coordinator and wider Southend team to provide person-centred recovery support and help people achieve their goals.
