Job summary

Darlington Borough Council is recruiting a Keeping In Touch Worker to help children, young people and families stay connected with Family Hub services across Darlington. You will collect feedback through home visits, calls, texts, emails and surveys, ensuring experiences shape service development.

You'll maintain accurate participation records, produce routine information and reports, and ensure the voices of children and families are heard and used to improve outcomes. This is not case-work.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, customer services, community engagement or family support roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to make people feel comfortable.
• Ability to gather information in a respectful and professional way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate participation information and up-to-date records.
• Gather feedback from families using visits, calls, texts, emails and surveys.
• Produce routine information and reports to understand service impact.
• Ensure children's and families' views influence service development.
• Work as part of Family Hubs learning from users.
