Job summary

Trafford Council is seeking a dedicated Family Hub practitioner to work with children, young people and families. You will be part of the Family Hub Team, coordinating support and delivering evidence-based programmes in collaboration with education colleagues and partner agencies.

The role focuses on identifying needs, planning interventions, and ensuring a whole-family approach is implemented effectively across services. DBS checks are required, with on-site working at hubs or schools.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children and families through an early help approach.
  • Ability to identify and assess needs, plan and coordinate support as a key worker.
  • Experience of partnering with a range of partners to implement a whole family approach.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Family Hub Team to deliver the right support at the right time.
  • Collaborate with education colleagues and wider partners to assess, plan and deliver evidence-based programmes.
