Job summary

Northumberland County Council is seeking a Family Hub Coordinator to cover the South East locality. The position is full-time (37 hours) and focuses on delivering play-based activities and providing direct support to families, children and parents across hubs, community and outreach settings.

You will work with partners to deliver non-clinical support, including routines, infant feeding and emotional wellbeing, aiming to improve outcomes for children and families.

Family Hub Coordinator - South East Locality, 1 full-time, 37 hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a full-time Family Hub Coordinator to support families across the South East locality.

Family Hubs work with children aged 0-19 (up to 25 with SEND) and their families, providing Early Help to ensure children get the best start in life.

You will deliver high-quality play experiences within hubs, in the community and outreach settings and with partners, and provide direct individual and group support to children, young people and parents/carers in a variety of settings. The role includes offering non-clinical support to new and expectant parents, including help with routines, infant feeding, emotional wellbeing and reducing social isolation.

We are looking for someone with experience of working with families, strong communication skills, and a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people and their families.
