Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 4 Rehabilitation Assistant to support falls prevention across West Essex and surrounding areas. You will deliver strength and balance interventions, conduct assessments, and tailor home or group exercise programmes to patients at risk of falls.

You will operate within the Falls Strength and Balance Exercise Service, triaging referrals, leading sessions, and contributing to service development.

Qualifications

• Experience running strength and balance community classes.
• Experience delivering home-based exercise programmes.
• Working in a falls prevention or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triaging referrals into the Falls Strength and Balance Exercise Service.
• Conducting initial home assessments for Otago or group programmes.
• Leading and delivering structured home-based or group exercise sessions.
• Contributing to ongoing development and evaluation of the service.
