Job summary

NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioner to support the Falls Strength and Balance Service across Essex, delivering high-quality strength and balance interventions and patient-centred care.

The role requires a Postural Stability qualification, experience delivering group or home-based exercise programmes, and managing a caseload of community patients with a focus on preventing falls. A probationary period applies.

Qualifications

• Postural Stability qualification required.
• Experience running strength & balance community-based exercise classes and home-based programmes.
• Caseload management for community patients is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality strength and balance interventions through routine clinical assessments and exercise instruction.
• Provide patient-centred care across designated Essex localities.
• Lead and deliver structured home-based or group exercise sessions.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of the Falls Strength and Balance Exercise Service.
