Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a 12 month Fixed term contract - Facilities Team Leader to join our National Highways England account in Bridge House 1 Walnut Tree Close Guildford Surrey GU1 4LZ. This role is based on-site.

The salary is dependent on experience.

Amey delivers total facilities and estate management services, including planned and reactive maintenance works, cleaning, project and asset management across Highways England’s extensive and growing operational estate.

We work in partnership with our client, Highway England staff, building users and their supply chain partners to ensure the 24/7 service we provide is delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements that keeps one of the busiest road networks in Europe safe for the people and businesses who rely on it every day.

The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the site.
  • Motivating a team of staff to ensure they provide the best customer service.
  • Complying with all health & safety legislations.
  • Building and ground maintenance.
  • Ensuring high quality of daily reception and front of house services.
  • Maintaining premises in a safe and secure manner.
  • Providing general security services, including management of CCTV and alarm systems.
  • Reacting to and executing any general repairs and maintenance duties as required.
