Job summary

NHS Professionals (NHSP) is seeking a Soft Facilities Team Leader for Bethlem Royal Hospital in London. You will lead a 24-hour facilities team, oversee operations, and work with the Facilities Manager to ensure safe, efficient and responsive services for staff, patients and visitors.

The role requires hands-on leadership, scheduling, training and continuous improvement across the Site Services team. Temporary vacancy until March 2027 with 4 days on/4 days off, 7am–7pm.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience is essential.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver results.
• Excellent written and spoken communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop Facilities staff, including training and appraisals.
• Coordinate 24-hour service across security, portering, reception, transport, waste and emergency response.
• Manage rotas and payroll information with accurate coverage.
