Job summary

High March School in Beaconsfield is seeking a reliable Facilities Assistant/Pool Technician to support the Facilities Manager. The role is hands-on, with routine building repairs, DIY tasks, estate duties, seasonal gardening and some pool maintenance, working 26.5 hours per week on a part-time, year-round basis.

You will report to the Facilities Manager and School Business Manager, bring practical DIY skills, teamwork, good communication, and physical fitness, and be prepared to assist during

Qualifications

• Good DIY skills and practical approach to tasks.
• Initiative, reliability and ability to work in a team.
• Good written and verbal communication and physical fitness.
• Full, clean driving licence required; willingness to obtain D1 minibuses entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Routine repairs and maintenance of the building fabric.
• General DIY and estate duties, seasonal gardening and pool maintenance.
• Provide support to the Maintenance Team and attend to swimming pool tasks.
• Be available for school events and ensure a facilities presence during holidays/half-term.
