Job summary

Hatzfeld Care Limited is seeking a hands-on maintenance worker to manage the upkeep of the site, including internal/external areas, furniture repairs, and decorating. You will perform minor plumbing, electrical checks, PAT testing, and assist with contractor coordination.

The role requires adherence to Health & Safety regulations, weekly fire drills, and ensuring secure, well-maintained facilities. Monday–Friday, full-time, with negotiable hours and a £14.50 hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in maintaining high standards of the site interior and exterior
• Assist with general furniture and fittings repairs
• Carry out minor maintenance, plumbing and repair work
• Carry out decorating and redecorating as required
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and equipment per Health and Safety rules
• Manage weekly fire drills and fire safety checks
• Carry out audits and inspections as per schedule
• Carry out PAT testing of electrical equipment
• Ensure smooth operation of plant machinery and utility systems
• Assist in liaising with external contractors and reporting issues to management
