Job summary

Elstow School is seeking a proactive Site Assistant to join our Facilities Team. The role is physically demanding and requires good handyman skills and the ability to carry out work efficiently.

You will work in a dedicated facilities department to keep the school safe, clean and in good repair, performing general repairs, liaising with contractors, and ensuring high health and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience of building maintenance, caretaking, site or premise work.
• Experience of carrying out basic repairs and maintenance.
• Experience of opening, closing and securing buildings.
• Substantial knowledge of Health and Safety, including COSHH.
