The University of Central Lancashire's Facilities team in Professional Services is recruiting a Facilities Operations Manager to lead its frontline facilities service and align operations with strategic plans, with a focus on the student experience and residential accommodation.

Applicants should have senior facilities or operational experience and either a NEBOSH General certificate or proven health and safety knowledge. The post sits on the FM leadership team.

Formación

• NEBOSH General certificate attained or in progress.
• NVQ Level 5 in FM attained or in progress, or equivalent experiential learning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the frontline facilities service and improve the customer experience.
• Provide leadership and strategic management of all internal operational facilities services.
• Ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery of all soft FM services.
• Ensure internal facilities operations support strategic plans and the student experience.
• Act as a principal link between Internal Operations and other key services.
• Ensure the estate is maintained to high standards.
• Act as part of the FM leadership team.
• Support and lead the team to enhance student experience and service delivery.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General certificate, attained or in progress
• NVQ Level 5 in FM, attained or in progress, or equivalent experiential learning

Experience

• Facilities management experience
• Senior facilities or operational role providing excellent customer service in a busy, varied environment
• Managing the delivery of all FM operations within a university environment, including residential and living accommodation

Skills & knowledge

• Strong people management skills
• Positive, proactive approach to challenges
• Proven knowledge of statutory health and safety, compliance and risk management, as an alternative to NEBOSH

Checks & eligibility

• DBS check at the appropriate level if the role is in regulated activity, with disclosure of spent and unspent convictions
