Job summary

The University of Lancashire is seeking a senior facilities leader to oversee frontline services on the Preston campus, ensuring safe, efficient and student-focused operations.

You will lead the FM team, aligning operations with strategic plans and collaborating with other services to maintain high estate standards, including residential accommodation. A NEBOSH General Certification or NVQ Level 5 in FM is preferred, with strong people management and proactive service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior facilities/operational role within a university environment.
• Proven knowledge of statutory Health and Safety and risk management.
• Experience delivering FM operations across campus and residential accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline facilities service and provide leadership and strategic management of all internal operational facilities services across the Preston Campus.
• Ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery of all soft FM services and maintain high estate standards.
• Collaborate with Internal Operations and other services to support strategic plans and student experience.
