Job summary

MoveATech is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to lead Hard and Soft FM services across six schools in Dumfries and Galloway. You will manage operational performance, SLAs, budgets and audits while acting as the main escalation point for schools and business managers.

You will lead Engineers, Team Leaders, Cleaning Supervisors and Caretakers, ensuring safety, performance and high customer satisfaction. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven facilities or operations management experience across multi-site portfolios.
• Experience delivering KPI targets and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements for premises.
• Ability to lead engineers, supervisors and caretakers.
• Full UK driving licence required; PVG check and enhanced checks may be needed.

Facilities Operations Manager – Dumfries & Galloway Schools - £45,000 - £49650

Six-month fixed-term contract | 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday | Company vehicle provided

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead Hard and Soft FM services across six schools in Dumfries and Galloway. You will manage operational performance, service-level agreements, budgets, supply-chain delivery and compliance audits, while acting as the key escalation point for customers and school business managers.

You will lead and support Engineers, Facilities Team Leaders, Cleaning Supervisors and Caretakers, promoting strong performance, safety and customer satisfaction across the portfolio. Proven facilities or operations management experience is essential, alongside knowledge of multi-site FM, KPI delivery and premises health and safety requirements.

A full UK driving licence is required;

IOSH and PFI contract experience are desirable.
