Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a senior FM operations leader to drive the delivery of Hard and Soft facilities management across 17 PFI schools. You will oversee frontline teams, ensure contractual obligations, and drive continuous improvement while minimising disruption to teaching and learning.

You will work with Technical Compliance and Lifecycle managers to maintain compliance, reporting, and efficiency, focusing on performance management and workflow control.

Qualifications

• Significant operational management experience in facilities management.
• Experience delivering Hard and Soft FM services.
• Experience with KPI/SLA and performance-based regimes.
• Strong people management in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with subcontractor and contract management.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• DBS Enhanced check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hard and Soft FM service delivery across a dispersed school portfolio.
• Monitor KPI, SLA and performance trends; drive improvements.
• Coordinate planned, reactive and lifecycle work across multiple stakeholders and sites.
• Manage subcontractors and supply chain to ensure compliance.

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the delivery of Hard and Soft FM across 17 PFI schools, ensuring contractual obligations and SLAs are met while driving service excellence. You will guide frontline teams and collaborate with the Technical Compliance and Lifecycle managers to maintain compliance and efficiency. The role focuses on performance management, workflow control, subcontractor oversight and continuous improvement within a complex, education-focused contract.
