Job summary

Huntress - Crawley is seeking a Facilities Management Team Leader for an initial 6-month contract (potential extension) in Haywards Heath. The role is office-based with a daily rate of £400–£450.

You will head a team of around six, ensuring high standards across a diverse portfolio and delivering compliant FM services across multiple sites. Key duties include leading the FM function, contractor management, and governance processes, with regular site visits and stakeholder collaboration.

• Proven experience in Facilities Management.
• Experience managing an FM team, service or function.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, technical and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and procurement processes.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Management Team Leader to join an established team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to extend.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FM professional who enjoys taking ownership, leading teams and ensuring high standards across a diverse property portfolio.

You will be responsible for overseeing the Facilities Management function, managing a team of approximately six people and ensuring the effective delivery of FM services across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Facilities Management function and wider FM team
• Oversee the delivery of facilities services across a varied property portfolio
• Ensure engineering, technical and statutory compliance requirements are met
• Manage contractors, suppliers and procurement activities
• Support FM governance, vetting processes and compliance procedures
• Carry out regular site visits across a range of properties, ensuring standards are maintained
• Provide guidance, support and leadership to the FM team

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience working within Facilities Management
• Previous experience managing an FM team, service or function
• Strong knowledge of engineering, technical and statutory compliance
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and procurement processes
• The ability to work across multiple sites and build strong working relationships
• A proactive approach with excellent organisational and leadership skills
