Job summary

Sodexo Group in Belfast is seeking an Assistant General Services Manager to oversee soft services across three client sites in the Greater Belfast area. You\'ll lead operational teams, ensure safe, compliant delivery of cleaning, catering, security and related services, and coordinate minor maintenance activities.

The role requires strong leadership, FM/soft services experience, and the ability to manage budgets, KPIs and client relationships.

Qualifications

• FM or Soft Services management experience.
• Experience managing cleaning, catering and/or security operations.
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• Experience conducting operational audits and maintaining compliance.
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation.
• Experience using CAFM systems.
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel between sites.
• Experience in healthcare, education or corporate environments.
• Experience with contract management, KPI reporting and specialist contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of multiple client sites.
• Lead and motivate operational teams to deliver outstanding service.
• Manage cleaning, catering, security and other support services.
• Coordinate planned and reactive works with internal teams and contractors.
• Monitor KPIs, audits and compliance standards while driving continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Manage staffing levels, resource planning and operational performance.
• Use CAFM systems and Microsoft Office to manage work orders and reporting.
