Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in the UK is offering an internship within the FMRE UK team at the Broughton site. The placement targets undergraduates with a focus on Facilities Management and related fields, providing exposure to real estate, space management and sustainability initiatives.

You will work on financial planning, reporting and cross-functional projects, with hybrid working options and a focus on developing practical skills in a dynamic, technical team environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.
• Pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent.
• Excellent IT skills (Google Suite).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to make decisions based on evidence.
• Flexible in a dynamic environment.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the HO Customer Facing with the financial management of budgets and forecasting.
• Participate in capital investment (CapEX) planning and projects.
• Develop site strategies including space management, sustainability, real estate and services.
• Lead projects that improve workplace standards as part of the Better Workplace initiative.
• Provide accurate reporting with transparent performance metrics to continuously improve service.
• Build relationships across the plant to anticipate business needs.
