Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support day-to-day facility operations. You will work with the FM team to ensure high-quality services for on-site clients and stakeholders, overseeing vendor activities and safety compliance.

You will manage work orders, track permits, monitor budgets, and contribute to risk management and reporting. Strong knowledge of building systems and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Background in facilities management, hospitality, or a related operational field.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and vendor management.
• Technical awareness of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality services to on-site clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor relationships for multiple service areas and monitor SLAs.
• Track and audit work orders in CMMS; manage permits and safety compliance.
• Support contractors, manage workflows, and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Assist with budgeting, purchase orders, and financial administration.
• Contribute to risk management, business continuity, and incident reporting.
• Provide regular reporting and ensure KPIs and SLAs are met.
