Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee soft services (catering, cleaning, and security), ensuring high standards. You will supervise service staff and external contractors, create service schedules, and manage budgets related to these services.

Reporting to senior management, you will monitor health and safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, implement sustainable practices, and coordinate with other departments to meet organisational needs.

Qualifications

• Oversee soft services, ensure high standards across catering, cleaning and security.
• Supervise service staff and external contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
• Develop and implement service schedules and procedures for regular and effective delivery.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, conduct inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage budgets for soft services and seek cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet organisational needs.
• Oversee procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies for catering, cleaning and security.
• Handle emergencies and service disruptions promptly to minimise impact.
• Maintain records of service activities and expenses.
• Implement sustainability initiatives within services.
