Pareto are looking to employ an experienced Facilities Manager for a prestigious new office in London. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional experience in people management, process implementation, and ownership of day-to-day operations on behalf of the client.

This role includes experience working with suppliers to deliver high standards of customer service, coupled with a thorough understanding of M&E service delivery. We seek an exceptional communicator capable of managing multiple stakeholders across various accounts while maintaining the highest service levels. The ideal candidate should be ambitious, self-driven, professional, and highly hardworking.

This position reports to a Senior Account Manager and may require hands-on involvement to resolve issues as needed.

Contract Particulars:
  • All business travel expenses covered, outside of base location
  • Immediate start
  • 3% pension, private healthcare, 33 days holiday including bank holidays
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time, in line with specifications, and remedial works are accurately reported
  • Complete all reactive tasks within KPI timeframes and to a high standard of repair
  • Accurately complete and file statutory paperwork
  • Develop and project manage minor works
  • Provide timely, consistent, and exemplary communication
  • Implement Pareto policies and procedures throughout the area of responsibility
  • Deliver Toolbox Talk training and identify additional training needs for direct reports
  • Ensure safe working practices during maintenance and repair activities
  • Manage safe systems of work for the area
  • Interface with the Client Workspace Team during reactive and PPM maintenance
  • Manage sub-contractors in line with responsibilities
  • Line manage maintenance engineers
  • Organize resources efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure workforce punctuality and conduct
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
  • Liaise with stakeholders to meet and exceed service level agreements and review service provision for improvements
Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Recognized Mechanical/Electrical engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 Electrical)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience managing a team of engineers
  • Strong interpersonal skills internally and with customers
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Experience with CAFM management systems
