Job summary

IWFM is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a large public sector contract across Merseyside. Based in Liverpool, you will manage hard FM services across multiple sites, lead maintenance teams and ensure compliance with safety and contractual standards.

The role focuses on coordinating PPM, reactive works and project variations, while liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain service excellence. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and hard services.
• Experience leading maintenance teams.
• Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Experience using CAFM systems.
• Good Health & Safety and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of hard FM services across multiple sites.
• Lead, support and motivate site-based maintenance teams.
• Ensure PPM, reactive and corrective works are completed within agreed timescales.
• Monitor compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Carry out regular site inspections and compliance audits.
• Support planned works, projects and contract variations.
• Liaise with clients, site teams and other stakeholders.
• Monitor CAFM systems and ensure maintenance records are accurate.
• Support budgeting, financial tracking and commercial activity.
• Attend operational and client meetings where required.
