Job summary

IWFM is seeking a Facilities Manager for a public sector client in Greater Manchester. The role is hybrid, with 2 days worked from home and 3 days on site, initially temporary with potential to go permanent.

You will manage hard FM, statutory compliance, audits and contractor performance across a portfolio, ensuring safety and value for money. You will review maintenance reports, coordinate audits, and support the FM Helpdesk and property team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management and property compliance.
• Background in FM audits, estates or property maintenance.
• Knowledge of statutory property compliance and health & safety.
• Experience with coordinating contractors and reviews of reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, compliance and maintenance of buildings.
• Coordinate property compliance audits and contractor activity.
• Review reported maintenance and compliance actions with timely remediation.
• Monitor fire, electrical safety and legionella compliance across portfolio.
• Undertake site inspections and liaise with stakeholders.
