Job Overview

You will be responsible for overseeing our client portfolio of commercial properties across the home countries. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the operational, financial, and strategic management of facilities within a vibrant and diverse environment. Undertake inspections of each property at least once each month. Ensure facilities at each property are maintained in good and safe working order and are fully compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation. Regularly monitor and review contracts and agreements to ensure they represent best value and maintain performance, replacing contracts as needed. This role offers flexible working with an excellent benefits package. The client is open to this role being remote 2 days a week, provided the candidate resides in the South East / London area, as there will be travel within the region.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary up to £49,250 per annum + £6,000 car allowance

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent FM support for commercial tenants, ensuring all services meet high standards as per leases.
  • Maintain effective communication with tenants regarding daily building operations.
  • Define scope and standards for cleaning services, ensuring compliance through audits and SLAs.
  • Implement fire safety and environmental management in accordance with regulations.
  • Arrange for mechanical and electrical services.
  • Possession of a relevant professional qualification and membership of a professional organization is desirable.
  • Previous experience with commercial PMS systems.
  • Understanding of technical and operational facilities.
  • Strong numeracy, communication skills, and the ability to motivate and organize staff efficiently.
  • Experience in financial and budget management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and produce concise reports.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety standards (IOSH/NEBOSH).
