CBRE in the United Kingdom seeks a Facilities Manager to lead a team and take overall responsibility for a group of properties in and around Southampton/Titchfield. The role emphasizes health and safety compliance, contract oversight, and delivering high-quality services within budgetary constraints.

As part of Global Workplace Solutions, the Facilities Manager will oversee service providers, drive improvements, and maintain strong tenant relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in facilities management including line management of staff and contractors.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation; IOSH or NEBOSH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor FM works onsite and liaise with service providers/sub-contractors.
• Ensure fabric of building is maintained and serviced to high standards per contract and budgets.
• Ensure health and safety compliance onsite.
• Oversee third-party contracts to ensure service standards meet contract.
• Prepare, control and monitor service agreements per client budgets.
• Regularly monitor KPIs and take remedial actions to maintain standards.
• Collate and maintain management information/records on health, safety and related topics.
• Develop and maintain excellent tenant relationships and ensure high service levels.
• Proactively manage risk and address insurance issues onsite.
• Liaise with building manager and procurement to coordinate external contracts.
