We are seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the operational delivery of integrated facilities management services across a designated site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and customer-focused environment while overseeing the delivery of both hard and soft facilities services., Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, this role will drive service excellence, continuous improvement, and value for money. The Facilities Manager will build strong client relationships, manage contract performance, lead site teams, and ensure services are delivered in line with agreed standards and objectives.,
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of integrated facilities management services, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with service standards.
- Manage building, engineering, cleaning and other soft facilities services to meet agreed contractual requirements and performance targets.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are consistently maintained across all site activities.
- Monitor service performance, budgets and financial targets, identifying opportunities for cost control and operational improvement.
- Lead, develop and motivate site teams, creating a positive working environment that supports high performance.
- Manage contractor and supplier performance, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring a resilient and customer-focused service that delivers value for money.
- Management experience within facilities management, education, or a similar service-driven environment.
- Proven leadership and organisational skills with the ability to develop teams and drive operational performance.
- Experience managing facilities infrastructure, assets and engineering systems.
- Strong understanding of facilities management regulations, compliance requirements and industry standards.
- Demonstrable experience managing both hard and soft facilities services.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Commercially aware with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to service excellence.
- Relevant facilities management qualification desirable., Health and safety qualification or equivalent experience preferred. Resilient, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
