The Framatome Ltd Facilities Manager, maintains and oversees a company’s grounds, buildings, infrastructure and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional to required standards. Their duties include in house delivery and oversight and coordination of third-party service providers in support of any Maintenace, repairs, upgrades and improvement initiatives (including corporate investments approved by investment committee for facilities) across all Framatome ltd locations.
Key Activties
Facilities Manager duties and responsibilities (Across all current and future Fra ltd locations – Avonmouth, Cranfield, Leiston Enterprise Centre, and other as required). A Facilities Manager performs many maintenance, safety and management tasks that promote a clean and safe and operational working environment for the building’s employees, including:• Responsibility for cleaning and maintenance contracts delivery working with Supply Chain• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces, workshops• Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed (self deliver or oversee 3rd party)• Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors• Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with IT, security system vendors or a team of security professionals• Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, including operational equipment and setting to work of maintenance technicians• Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, and investment projects to keep updated on progress• Preparing facilities for events and other requirements• Oversight, project management and delivery of outsourced CAPEX/ facilities contracts as required - engaging with Supply chain in the sourcing• Collaborating with building owners (principle tenants) and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs/ scheduling and progress updates• Support to the wider business for events and exhibitions as required - set up and logistics
