Job description

The Framatome Ltd Facilities Manager maintains and oversees the company's grounds, buildings, infrastructure, and equipment to ensure a safe and functional workspace that meets required standards. Their duties include in-house delivery, oversight, and coordination of third-party service providers for maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and improvement initiatives across all Framatome Ltd locations.

Key Activities

The Facilities Manager is responsible for tasks across all current and future Framatome Ltd locations—including Avonmouth, Cranfield, Leiston Enterprise Centre, and others as required. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing cleaning and maintenance contracts in collaboration with Supply Chain
  • Monitoring safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, outdoor spaces, and workshops
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs, either directly or through oversight of third-party providers
  • Scheduling inspections and emergency repairs with external vendors
  • Ensuring security measures are in place, collaborating with IT, security vendors, or security personnel
  • Managing daily operations of facilities, including operational equipment and maintenance staff
  • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, and projects to track progress
  • Preparing facilities for events and other activities
  • Overseeing outsourced CAPEX and facilities contracts, engaging with Supply Chain for sourcing
  • Collaborating with building owners and management on budgeting, scheduling, and updates
  • Supporting business events and exhibitions with setup and logistics

  • Overseeing contractor work, approving payments, and raising high-quality PRs in SAP
  • Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance according to company policies
  • Conducting regular facilities walk-downs and safety observations
  • Implementing facility OPEX contributions within scope
  • Checking completed work by vendors and contractors
  • Recommending maintenance and facility changes in collaboration with HoBLs
  • Performing or arranging routine maintenance and repairs
  • Scheduling inspections and emergency repairs as needed
  • Managing daily facility operations and maintenance tasks
