Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Glasgow is seeking a Workplace Facilities Coordinator to act as the customer-facing representative for our facilities management on the MOD FDIS contract. You will ensure seamless facilities support and deliver an exceptional workplace experience for building occupants.

Responsibilities include logging and chasing work orders, floor walks to maintain a clean environment, and supporting health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service, facilities management or workplace support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with individuals and groups.
• Experience using CAFM and Maximo systems, including logging jobs, raising purchase orders and running reports.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with ability to support printing and AV solutions.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all facilities management-related queries, requests and issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with building occupants, ensuring a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
• Log, monitor and chase work orders on behalf of clients, ensuring issues are directed to the correct teams and resolved promptly.
• Conduct regular floor walks to maintain a clean, tidy and professional working environment, reporting any concerns as required.
• Support workplace health and safety procedures, including playing an active role during fire emergencies in line with building procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience within a customer service, facilities management or workplace support environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals and groups.
• Experience using CAFM and Maximo systems, including logging jobs, raising purchase orders and running reports.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with the ability to support printing and audio-visual solutions.
