Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Glasgow is seeking a Workplace Facilities Coordinator to act as the customer-facing representative for the MOD FDIS Contract, delivering seamless facilities management support and an exceptional workplace experience for building occupants.

You will manage queries, log and chase work orders, conduct floor walks, support health and safety procedures, and build strong relationships with occupants while using CAFM systems such as Maximo.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service, facilities management or workplace support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with individuals and groups.
• Experience using CAFM and Maximo systems to log jobs, raise purchase orders and run reports.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all facilities management-related queries, requests and issues.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with building occupants, ensuring a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.


• Log, monitor and chase work orders on behalf of clients, ensuring issues are directed to the correct teams and resolved promptly.


• Conduct regular floor walks to maintain a clean, tidy and professional working environment, reporting any concerns as required.


• Support workplace health and safety procedures, including playing an active role during fire emergencies in line with building procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience within a customer service, facilities management or workplace support environment.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals and groups.


• Experience using CAFM and Maximo systems, including logging jobs, raising purchase orders and running reports.


• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with the ability to support printing and audio-visual solutions.
