Job summary

Goodwin Development Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated maintenance assistant to support our sites across Hull and East Yorkshire. You will perform routine tasks to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment to a good standard and help ensure safety and compliance.

You will record information accurately, order materials, and maintain records for inspections and vehicle compliance. The role may require covering other shifts or sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks contributing to Goodwin’s maintenance service to a good standard for all sites.
• Ensure electronic information is recorded, accurate and updated as necessary.
• Ensure maintenance and landscaping equipment/supplies are safe to use and are used appropriately; maintaining accurate service/inspection records.
• Complete building open-up and lock down for all sites when required.
• Requesting/ordering appropriate materials for specific tasks.
• Ensuring all Goodwin’s buildings remain compliant.
• Ensuring vehicles remain compliant and keeping accurate records.
• Championing health and safety and ensuring regulations and procedures are followed and adhered to.
• Provide cover for other shifts and/or sites as and when required.
