Job summary

Student Pages Media Group Limited is seeking a Maintenance Assistant/Driver to help keep our service, buildings and facilities safe and well-maintained on site across the United Kingdom. The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence, good DIY skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and independently to deliver high-quality service.

You will assist with checks, repairs, decorating and liaising with the manager, while supporting contractors and participating in on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance role.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Commitment to safety and service quality.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rota and training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain services, buildings and equipment to be fit for purpose.
• Utilise DIY skills to maintain safety of residents.
• Perform regular checks and routine maintenance.
• Repair and maintain all buildings and decorating.
• Liaise with a manager to report faults.
• Participate in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
• Coordinate and support contractors on site.
• Complete paperwork and tool checks.
